2010 Convention Testimonials

Dr. John's Comments

Convention 2010 was a resounding success with all attending contributing to the Spiritual energy that was enjoyed by all.
My congratulations to all the ministers that presented workshops in a professional and delightfully interesting manner.
Accommodation and meals were first class at the Vernon Lodge
and were enjoyed by all attending.
Our keynote speaker, Andrew Schneider, at the Saturday evening windup, presented a stimulating lecture.
The icing on the cake was the special Sunday Ordination Service held at the Vernon Centre for Awakening Spiritual Growth where 13 Minister Members were ordained by declaring the CIMM Ordination Vows.  Friends and family, of the ministers being ordained, were in attendance creating a powerful Spiritual atmosphere. All attending commented that they are looking forward to future conventions.
Many thanks to all the Board members for their help and support.

                    Rev. Dorothy Blandford's Comments

It was the first evening of the convention.  We had had a warm welcome, shared a meal with new friends, and were now listening to personal introductions.   It was just a few hours since its commencement when I felt the sizzle and heard an inner whisper, “this is special, this is where you are meant to be.”  It was a prophesy that came to pass.  I met new friends, shared ideas, and learned from the presentations of each speaker that will take me personally, and my ministry, to a new level.   To Dr. John and his Board, to William for his beautiful music, and to each one who was present, “thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and for being part of an experience that moved me emotionally at my soul level,
more than my words can ever express.”

B.C. Greetings from Rev. David Bate
to all CIMM Ministers across our Nation.

My thanks to all the Ministers who helped make our first Convention in B.C. a great success with your attendance and participation.  For those not able to attend I will mention some of the highlights.  The Venue was the Vernon Lodge, a first class hotel featuring a huge indoor atrium in the center with a creek ambling through the trees and exotic plants and stone pathways leading to eating areas set among the vegetation, a great place to meditate in the off hours for any of our Ministers so inclined.  The conference room was spacious allowing for extra tables specifically for enjoying the buffet meals that featured an abundance of delicious food to suit every pallet.
Saturday was taken up with helpful and informative workshops by attending Ministers who shared the expertise of their respective Ministries.  Saturday evening featured a lecture, “Effective Teaching of Metaphysical Spirituality” by our long time friends and mentors, Andrew and Bonnie Schneider.  The material was based on their ongoing corresponding classes, “The Soul Journey.”
At the conclusion of Andrew’s lecture it was obvious why he is an internationally known and sought after lecturer and teacher.
How blessed we were
to have had the opportunity to share time with him.
In closing may I ask all Ministers to join in consciousness on a regular basis to assist Dr. John in promoting the ongoing growth of CIMM, that we may be of greater assistance to the World Servers.

Rev. Connie Bloomfield's Comments

I am sitting here, reliving the fabulous Convention we have had this weekend. What fun, and I really feel that I've made a bunch of new friends. Imagine on Friday evening, everyone arriving anticipating what will unfold over the weekend. The energy in the room was one of heightened expectancy and a unique sense of oneness that I haven't felt before. As each person arrived, the
energy grew. I went home, vibrating in every cell.
So beyond excitement.
Saturday morning, and all the same energy. Few people had even slept. All day Saturday we were fed ideas of Ministry. Ideas of how to be expansive, ideas of truth, love, namiste’, creativity, what' if's,. I felt myself honouring each speaker that had put so much of their commitment to their individual ministries into their
presentations. Each topic unique, each topic presented from that special Head/ Heart connection. By the end of the day, I felt honoured to be in the presence of each one
that gave up their time to attend.
Sunday, was the Ordination ceremony. Again a great buzz of a day. Each individual presentation, each commitment to the Vows, given with hesitation, and then “I Do”. For the organizer of this Event, Dr. John what a lot of attention to detail, to organization, to commitment to the outcome of “We are having a Minister's Convention”. Some of us doubted, you, Dr. John never hesitated. Thank you all for your individual commitments. For you dedication to your own Spiritual Path, and for sharing that vision
with us at this
Our First Minister's Convention in British Columbia.
